about

From Celestial Bodies: Saturn. (VIII)

The eighth release in the Celestial Bodies series, a 12-month galactic collaboration between Ruined Machines and artist Michal Brodka spanning the entire Solar System and beyond.

"Saturn's a polar opposite of Jupiter; no digital synths or software-based instruments were allowed during the making of the record, instead focusing on the intricate, imperfect details and minor eccentricities of actual instrument playing. Taking the perfect, shiny, manufactured goodness of Jupiter and trading it in for the raw, intimate cuts from a 70s classic rock album. Less is more.

This EP is the product of broken cymbals, broken headphones, broken computers, and at times, broken everything. Ruined machines? Either way, if you've had a winter like we've had... let Phoebe fix you."

We are next in space.
