about

From Celestial Bodies: Uranus. (IX)

The ninth release in the Celestial Bodies series, a 12-month galactic collaboration between Ruined Machines and artist Michal Brodka spanning the entire Solar System and beyond.

"Close call! We almost didn't make the deadline. Now that we are three quarters through the entire Celestial Bodies saga, let's take a look at where we're at. And now that the running time for the entire collaboration exceeds two hours, it's wild how the project morphed from one style of music to the next, with the art right alongside the tunes the whole way. With Uranus (yeah, I know) we're starting from scratch; Uranus may serve as a palette cleanser (ha ha) for what's to come. A little electronic, a little guitar serenading. All in the name of a new humanity we have no idea exists. Here's to the final three months of Celestial Bodies."

We are next in space.
